It was Saturday afternoon when we traveled to the most amazing place of Niagara. We arrived safely and of course very happy. We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. The first picture was taken in front of the Niagara falls when we explore the beauty of the place.  Actually, it’s Erma who planned this travel and book for hotel reservation ahead of time.  We decided to met in front of the hotel at Niagara City. Erma and Glory traveled by greyhound bus from Toronto to Niagara city. As for me, I traveled by car I asked my brother to drive. I met Erma and Glory in front of the hotel’s lobby last July 11 at exactly 12 noon.

The hotel is great, overlooking the beauty of the falls. We have an elegant suit with complete facilities plus internet connection. I brought my laptop with me and of course I immediately upload all the pictures and videos that I captured at Niagara Falls. It’s the happiest travel that I had with my friend Erma and Glory. We had fun together and we enjoy so much. We shop many beautiful stuffs and souvenirs. Next year we plan to travel at Vancouver or Alberta. We also plan to travel at Florida this month but it depends upon the availability of time. As of now we are all busy with our works.

Canada Day is one of the most exciting events of all Canadian people. It was celebrated every July 1st at the Riverside Park here in our beloved place Guelph city. There are lots of activities that you can enjoy. The Rotary Club of Guelph proudly presents Canada Day at Riverside Park. It’s for free and you have only to give donations per family to support the local charities and events.

The schedule of events and activities are the following: from 12:30 Bingo (Senior’s Tent), 2:00 Uncle Sparks, 3:00 Mega Mutts Dog Show, 4:30 Duck races (at the river) and Trivia (Senior’s Tent), 4:45 citizenship ceremony, 6:00 overtones ladies chorus, 7:00 the free press, 8:00 welcome from the dignitaries, 9:15 dream home grand prize draw, musical fireworks, 10:00 royal city big band encore set.

My friend Elma with son Peter, sister Agring with her daughter Abby and I had fun and enjoyed very much. We took pictures in every event that we saw. At around five in the afternoon we felt tired and we sit down for a while and of course take pictures. Here’s the picture while relaxing and viewing the people around the park.

It’s a green parrot and a blue yellow macaw that I captured last two weeks ago. Most parrots are found in most warm and tropical regions. They have strong curved and broad bill, an upright stance, strong legs, and clawed zygodactyl feet. Most parrots are predominantly green, with other bright colors, and some species are multi-colored.

They love to eat seeds, nuts, fruit, buds and other plant material. Aside from that they also eat insects and small animals, nectar from flowers and soft fruits. Most of the parrots nest in tree holes and lay white eggs. Like the other birds, parrots are the most intelligent birds and have the ability to imitate human voices that’s makes them unique and amazing.

I love to play with them. Like parrot, macaw is also popular with impressive look. They have a large, dark and usually black beak, relatively hairless, light color and medial facial. Like parrot, macaw has impressive size that makes them elegant and unique. They are expensive to purchase, adopt or maintain and very demanding. They are loud, noisy and considered as one of the intelligent birds in the world. Like parrots, they also love to eat fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and many more.

That’s my sweet friend name Elma. She’s beautiful of course and lives not far from my place that’s why every time she goes out I’m her companion. In this Canada Day we enjoy and had fun to witness the celebration at Riverside Park.

Like me, she likes also to take pictures. We have things in common when it comes to hobbies and gimmicks. After the event we proceed to Mc Donalds and order our favorite foods such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken, french fries, soft drinks and desserts. Then after that we returned home happily, upload all my pictures in my computer then blogging of course.
