Proper Handwashing
Most children nowadays are suffering from cough and colds. They are weak and they got cough and colds from schools or friends. That’s why I told my niece to wash hands carefully to avoid the transfer of cough and colds from friends or classmates. I taught her the proper way of hand washing technique. For kids who doesn’t know how to wash their hands, follow the following procedure:
1. Wet hands and wrists with water.
2. Add sufficient amount of soap to form a lather and cover your hands entirely.
3. Rub your hands together, palm to palm.
4. Clean between and around your fingers.
5. Use the palm of each hand to wash the back of the other hand.
6. Use your palm to scrub the fingers on your opposite hand.
7. Grab each thumb and scrub with your opposite hand.
8. Spread the lather up both wrists.
9. Rinse
10. Dry thoroughly.
11. If paper towel is available, use it to turn off the tap before discarding it in the trash.
