Canada day is fast approaching. Wow! What a very exciting day for me. It is holiday, no work and the best time for me to explore. We have many plans for Canada day. In the morning, we plan to organize family hike. My sister, brother, mom, kids and I will walk to grandma’s house. She lives in the country home near the beautiful lake. It is a long hike and we plan to bring our Nikon binoculars to view the beautiful attractions. In the afternoon we will go to Riverside Park to watch the activities. There are many activities for kids such as carousel rides, pony rides, train rides, duck races, little zoo filled with lambs, goats, pigs, ducks, donkey, sheep, bunnies and many more. You can also eat delicious foods at the food court. The exciting event in the evening is the fireworks. I can’t wait and I love it so much.

In this hot season, it is good for us to increase physical activity. Schedule time for daily workouts routine. Walk wherever you want instead of taking the car. Organize family activities such as swimming, picnic in the lake, playing outdoor games, play with the kids, ride a bike to the corner store, hiking, learn to dance, take the stairs instead of elevator, mow the lawn and many more. If these activities are not your hobbies, start slowly and gradually increase the number of minutes per day. The number of minutes you have for physical activities, the better you are. Maintain daily activities and enjoy your life, that’s the important thing to have in our life.

Gardening is one of my favorite hobby. It is the best way for me to enjoy during summer days. To make my flowers and vegetables blooming I put them natural fertilizer. I make my own compost at the backyard. No need for me to spend a lot of money. Just be creative, water if needed, put natural nutrients and take care of the plants always.

We are born catholic and all of us had our baptism, confirmation, Holy Eucharist and other holy sacraments. It is a part of our belief and to accept God as our personal savior. Children are a special gift gave to us to develop, look after and love. A friend of mine was in a relationship with a man she loved and she thought they were going to marry and have a family. I feel sorry for myself because I started to gain weight again. A friend of mine is good for cooking and I can not say no for the foods she offer to me. It is hot season and I always visit her house. We have a good time together and enjoy our outdoor activities. She loves strolling and I do the same too so we have a good companionship.
